Bible verse wallpapers for your everyday screens

Keep a passage you want to remember where you will see it during the day. Whether you are carrying a verse from your morning Bible reading, looking for words of encouragement, or making a Scripture card for a friend, start with a design that gives the words room to be read.

A reminder on your lock screen or desktop

Explore phone wallpapers for your lock screen or home screen, and desktop wallpapers for your computer. Preview a finished design before saving it, then choose the crop in your device’s wallpaper settings. Phone designs offer Standard and Tall sizes; computer backgrounds use a wide layout.

Find a style that feels like you

Choose nature photography, minimal lettering, illustration or expressive typography. Try black Bible verse wallpapers for contrast, cute illustrations for a little warmth, or pink designs in soft and vivid shades. The aesthetic collection brings together gentle landscapes, restrained color and thoughtful type.

Your favorite passage, made personal

Already know the words you want? Browse wallpapers for Philippians 4:13, Isaiah 41:10, Jeremiah 29:11 or Psalm 23:1. To use another passage, open a gallery design and search for its reference in WEB or KJV. You can change the font, text size and placement, add your own photo, or write your own words. Download a PNG for your screen, or make a square card or Story image to share.

For a moment of reading before you choose a design, discover a Bible verse or explore verses by topic. Read the surrounding passage to keep its meaning and context with the words you save.

Questions about Bible verse wallpapers

Are these Bible verse wallpapers free?

Yes. Browse, personalize and download wallpapers for free without creating an account. Use Download PNG to save an image. In the editor, Share image opens your device’s image-sharing options when supported; otherwise it downloads the PNG for you to share.

How do I download a Bible verse wallpaper?

Open a finished wallpaper in a phone, desktop, style or individual verse collection, then choose Download PNG. To change it first, choose Customize this design in its preview. Images in the main gallery open in the editor, where Download PNG saves your chosen format.

What sizes are available for phone and desktop wallpapers?

Phone wallpapers offer Standard (1170 × 2532) and Tall (1440 × 3200) PNGs. Desktop wallpapers are 1920 × 1080. The editor also includes square cards at 1080 × 1080 and Story images at 1080 × 1920. Preview your chosen size before downloading. The optional phone clock guide is for the preview only and is not part of the saved image.

How do I set a Bible verse as my wallpaper?

Save the PNG to your phone’s photos or your computer’s downloads, then select it in your device’s wallpaper settings. Choose your lock screen, home screen or desktop and check the crop before applying it. Screen proportions, clocks and widgets vary, so adjust the placement to keep the verse visible.

Can I change the Bible verse on a design?

Yes. Open Choose a Bible verse and search for a reference such as John 3:16 or Psalm 23:1–3. Full English book names and common abbreviations are supported. You can choose WEB or KJV, explore a topic or select another verse while keeping the design you chose. Reference ranges stay within one chapter, with up to 20 verses per search.

Can I use my own words?

Yes. Start with the Use my own words card or expand Edit the words on any design. Add an optional reference or credit. Custom wording is exported without an automatic Bible translation label. Restore Bible verse returns to the original passage.

Can I change the background, font and text position?

Open Adjust design for background choices, fonts, text size and top, middle or bottom placement. You can restore a template’s original background after trying another one. Text adapts to the selected format; if a passage is too long to fit legibly, choose a larger format or a shorter passage.

Can I use my own photo?

Upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF image up to 20 MB under Adjust design. Your photo is processed in this browser and is not uploaded. It remains available for this visit.

Which Bible translations can I use?

Finished wallpapers in the collections use the World English Bible (WEB). To choose the King James Version (KJV), open a design in the editor and change the translation under Choose a Bible verse. The reading panel identifies your selected version. Some verse numbers present in KJV are not included in this WEB edition; if a passage is unavailable, the editor explains and keeps your current reading visible.
