Find a person and follow the passages about them
Browse 47 profiles grouped by family and period. This is a selection of people, not an exhaustive list of biblical names. Genesis families make up much of the collection, alongside Moses, Israel’s kings and prophets, Jesus, and people in the Gospels and Acts.
Check which person a name refers to: Enoch and Lamech each name more than one man in Genesis, and the Manasseh profile here concerns Joseph’s son, not the later king. Follow the cited passages for what a person says and does; ages, motives, and later traditions are not always stated in the text.
The Jesus guide follows his ministry, teaching, death, and resurrection, including the Gospels’ claims that he is the Messiah and Son of God. It is not a personality assessment. The other profiles likewise describe lives in context rather than assigning readers a biblical identity.
